Medvedev Gets Most News Coverage
The System of Complex New Analysis (SCAN) has shown that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is the most mention politician in the Russian media, Interfax reports. In the week of November 10-16, Medvedev was mentioned 1311 times by various political and financial news outlets. Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was in second place with 808 mentions.
Rounding out the top five politicians in the news were Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Alexey Kudrin in third place with 253 mentions. He was followed by Foreign Minster Sergey Lavrov with 201 mentions and Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov with 198.
